Aww, auco I hope you get the results you want in the end!
Thanks everyone!
I am really ready to be done. But I don't want to get them off and be disappointed with a minor issue like that.

Your teeth look amazing! I can't even really tell the little space, and honestly wouldn't have if you hadn't pointed it out. But I completely understand why you'd wait, you don't want to be disappointed later on. But really though, you've had absolutely fantastic results! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that tooth decides to do what it should and move on over.

Thanks guys! I am really on the fence about attempting the repositioning. I go back on the 23rd. I guess it can't hurt to try...but I know that a 7/23 repositioning means a check in late August and then...
I am determined to be done by 9/30! Maybe I should tell him that...

Re: 6 Months with braces! I am so happy with my progress
Back to the ortho today; still no debanding date
He acknowledges that he is being EXTREMELY picky. But he wants to try to shift this tooth just a tad. My roots are pretty much perfect and he is almost certain it's just a tooth shape issue. But as you can see in the side view, that tooth is kicked out just a bit...the lateral on the other side does the same thing; just that it doesn't create a space between the lateral and the canine.
So, he questions his decision to reposition the brackets.
Decides to do it.
Brackets are removed, glue sanded, new brackets applied.
He decides he doesn't like the positioning he did on the right lateral (problem tooth). Decides it's better as it was before.
Decides he needs a reverse curve wire on the lower arch and a 17-25 on the upper.
Bracket is removed, glue sanded, new bracket applied.
He seriously spends like 10 minutes looking at my teeth from all angles and talking to himself.
Decides the bracket needs to be repositioned. (assistant is giving him because it's now going into their lunch hour)
Decides he needs a 16-22 on the upper.
BOTH lateral brackets are removed, glue sanded, new brackets applied.
Decides he does not need a reverse curve wire on the lower arch.
Admits he's being nitpicky but it's so close and he wants it perfect.
WHEW.
After all that(!!) I am back in August to take a look at things.

Great to read through these posts. I had a not so ideal ortho so It's great to read about your experience and how so quickly it was exceeding your expectations.

Re: 6 Months with braces! I am so happy with my progress
I do love my ortho. He's great!
Well today we went back to the powerchain and "evaluate the space" in 4 weeks. I'm getting sad because every visit adds 2 months.
I go back in September and even if he decides that that's it, it'll be another 4 weeks minimum before they'd be removed.

Re: 6 Months with braces! I am so happy with my progress
Before and Month 19 (edited to say: There's not really a midline difference - trust me! I've asked and double and triple checked!! It's the way I smile; I sort of slant my mouth.
I am getting VERY excited to see my un-braced teeth!
