I haven't been on here for quite some time, but today I decided to share some of my progress pics because I don't think I've ever done that before on this forum. I cannot believe it has been 15 months since I've been braced. Last week my ortho decided it was time for me to start wearing rubber bands. Just when I thought I was done with all the torture devices...ugh. But he said if I'm good with wearing them and keeping them on 24/7, I should be able to eat my Thanksgiving dinner brace free!
Edit: I got rid of my iPhone at the beginning of the year, hence the declining quality of the pics. My teeth seem more yellow on my current phone w crappy camera but I swear it's not! Lol
Wow, you must be on cloud 9! So did it seem like a long time or did time fly for you?
07/14/14 - 4 spacers put in
07/25/14 - braces top and bottom put in minus 2 molar bands that they couldn't fit
9/11/14 - 2 spacers put in between the bottom back molars
9/19/14 - last 2 bottom molar bands in and all hooked up, new wire, started elastics too
10/14/14 - new square wire change and thick elastics
04/24/17 - braces removed!!!

Not gonna lie, there were days when I felt like I've had these braces on for FOREVER! But generally I can't believe it's already almost over. It seems just like yesterday I went in for my consult and got them installed.
I think I'm going to go to my favorite restaurant to celebrate and binge eat once I get them off lol.

Treatment time: 18 months
Debrace date: 11/28/2014!

I am jealous already but happy for you too! Enjoy that first meal without braces. It would be hard not to smile and see all your nice teeth.
