Still not done. Got a double power chain today. But I told him this was it. We will see if it closes in 3 weeks. I'm going to talk to my dentist about composite bonding on that tooth.

The space is like 1/2 a mm!!!!!! Sooooo hopefully I will be brace-free by thanksgiving!

Thanks all!

Last appointment he did an over/under powerchain up top and a powerchain on bottom.

After a painful 2 weeks I finally have space closure!!!! That dang blasted space is almost closed. So send me good braces-vibes for my appointment on 10/15! :mrgreen: :-*

Braces installed on March 25, 2014: Damon clears on top and metal on bottom.
I had braces for 25 months!

You have to post a total of 7 or 8 times, I believe, before you're allowed to see photos and all of that cool stuff! Just post more :)

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crazy: :-* :mrgreen:

I don't have an exact debanding date because he sends his retainers out to be made. But I know that it will be before Christmas.

I go back next week for a mold of my upper arch to have the fixed retainer made.
A couple weeks later I will go back to have it placed.
Then I will probably have to make a second appointment to have my molds made for removable retainers
Once the Essix retainers are completed I go back for removal.

I'm so excited to be able to count down!!!

I snuck a pic when my wires were out :-D (Again, my midline isn't off, I just have a habit of 'canting' my mouth to the side when smiling :wink: )
