It's my time to shine

So I have an appointment to get braced on October 9th, 2014. My Orthodontist actually gets flown in from. another state and also has another office that he goes to so he's only at our office once a week. I have to get some teeth extracted before then and I'm ready to go.

I believe I went from consultation to braces within 4 weeks.

I had a consultation on a Friday, and got them on that Monday.

I did my rounds of consultations in July...I did 4, and just now I had my records with the 2nd place I went for a consultation yesterday. After I paid for my records I was asked when I wanted to get fitted I picked the next week...so after I did my xrays and molds I got spacers put on in my molars...now I just wait until next week on the 22nd to officially join the brace-face club! Thanks everyone. I still don't have my braces on. I am getting my Oral surgery done on Monday Oct. 20, 2014 to remove my impacted canine and 2 wisdom teeth. It took forever to get an appointment. The Oral Surgeon wanted to do my surgery in an out patient facility and my insurance requested a pre-determination and it got denied. So the surgeon decided that he will go ahead and do it in his office. Without the insurance picking up the claim I would not have been able to afford it. It is still costing alot of money but I can live with it. Now my new braced date is November 6, 2014 at 10 am. Wish me luck!!!

Interesting to hear everyone's responses. I got my consultation and was braced that same day! I guess that's not the norm
