Round1 :$2,400 20 years ago, $1k covered by insurance
Round2: Other orthos quoted me anywhere from $7k up to $12k.

My total cost is $3k divided into interest free payments. No hidden costs. Basically everything is included. Even all my screws that cost around $50-$120 each! ( at one point I had been through 10 or 12 tads, thats a grand right there!)

Couldn't be happier.

I am all about the teaching schools. You never know if your dr is in it for the passion or to overcharge people....sure, we will take your money, yes of course you need braces....yep that will be 7 grand...2 years later, straight teeth out the door, on to the next... oh wait 3 years later, oh no you're teeth are crooked? sure we can fix that, rinse and repeat!

I want results that will last a lifetime!

Not quite sure how some of you are getting the prices you say (not saying anybody is lying, its just some of those prices seem unbelievably low) but thats great

I had 2 consultations, one was with a dental schools orthodontics division and quoted me $5708 but didn't have in house financing (they use care credit which wont approve me) so I needed to pass

2nd was with a usual graduated orthodontist, the kind of place with multiple offices; I was expecting $8000 (there is a website that gives estimates and for my area was quoting a little less than $8000 up to almost $10000) give or take, they are well reviewed online with lots of 5 stars (almost 100% with maybe a few 4 stars) and after going there I know why, the experience was completely great every step of the way from how they did everything (like my mouth hasnt been shredded by poking wires everywhere, nothing fell off from when I left the office) to informing you on what they were doing as they go, literally step by step

I was also surprised I was given the option of getting braces the same day (they did everything in about a 4 hour time frame, including putting my braces on) as everything was great and I was prepared I gave them a down payment of $1228 with monthly payments of $198 $6000 total

Oh and i have Damons top and bottom for an estimated 24 months

I really can't wait to keep going for adjustments as I think I found a winner
