I got mine at the age of 24. The second time around, I have an open bite that was not corrected when I was younger.

I just got braces a month ago! I'm 19 and just started college, so I saved up a bunch and decided I'd want to be able to have awesome teeth sooner rather than later :)

I got braces a week ago, at 26 (soon 27). They tried to put braces on me when I was 12, but I refused. If I could go back to my inner twelve year old I would tell her to shut the f up and get braced.

36 years old before I decided (and was financially able to) take the plunge. You're never too old, I think.

42 and I've had the top ones bonded in March 2014 and had the lowers bonded and removable bite plate installed last week... wish I had done it sooner.. but, better now than never..

I've needed braces since I was a teenager. Now at 44, I'm starting the process. So excited! Right now it is nothing but pain with the spacers (braces next week). I'm going to have fun with it :) I dont know how my significant other will feel about dating a woman with braces, but I figure if we get married, then his bride will have a beautiful smile. I've never been so excited to smile in my life!
