AcceleDent?

I can see, that this topic is a bit abandoned, but I would like to ask you, if maybe meanwhile someone got experience about Acceledent.
It looks like I'll have them in 3 weeks, but really don't know what to expect. :) My case is interesting though, because currently I don't get braces, just an A.L.F. appliance to extend my upper jaw..

I was a bit skeptical at first, but my orthodontist mentioned it and said he had participated in clinical trials with patients and it works. I am now a believer, because I'm getting my braces off 5 months early! Unfortunately my device gave out about a month ago, but Acceledent replaced it. Now I have a new one, but happy to get the braces off! I documented my progress in a blog to hopefully be a resource to others.
