Hi Featheryy1221,

Do you know why I can't see your pictures? It's saying I have no permission or something like that.

Hello there. :)
You have to become a full member by making between 8-10 posts before you can see photos. The number seems to vary for each user, but around 9 posts should do it.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for sharing your story - your teeth and smile look amazing!
I have to ask - did you notice changes in your overall face shape from your treatment?

Thank you! :) I appreciate that!

I think now I have slightly more noticeable cheekbones. My face has always been longer looking but now I think it's very slightly less so. But I'm biased. Lol. There's a difference in the lower half of my face shape now (around my chin); it's rounded out more.

Mostly I just notice how wide my smile is now. My smile was sooo extremely narrow before.

Your results are inspiring. I do hope that if you are not fully satisfied, that you don't rush to remove them. Wait until you are ready not when the ortho thinks your ready. It will be money well spent!

As I said in a previous post, I am very happy with them. I honestly can't see anything more he absolutely has to fix. My smile is leaps and bounds better than what it was and what I ever imagined it looking and I trust his judgement. I'm absolutely ready to be done.

In only a couple days I will find out if I'm getting debraced or at least the next time of when I can hope to. I'm trying really hard not to get too excited for brace removal at my appointment on Tuesday because I know that if I do, I'm going to end up disappointed. I think he may decide to keep them on a little longer, which is understandable.

I'm just so excited for getting these thing off and ending this journey. It's been a long one (I started consultations in May of 2013).

I actually tried doing a really bad photoshop job of seeing how my teeth are going to look without braces by getting rid of the brackets and I started crying happy tears. Like many (if not all) on here, a beautiful smile is something I have wanted almost my entire life and to finally have it is just so amazing.

I guess if someone's reading through my journey in the same exact place I was when I started, just go through with it. I was so unsure about the palatal expander route, (and to be fair it doesn't always work without surgery) but I'm so glad I had found success stories and that I went through with it. My smile, even with braces on, is so much better than I ever dreamed it to be.

I guess I'm just feeling a lot of emotions right now, sorry guys. Haha.

Wish me luck on Tuesday, I definitely need it.

Thanks Maple! :) I hope the brace-free life is still treating you well. :)
They feel soooo weird! I didn't expect them to feel like this. It's strange not feeling the brackets.

Also eating now is soooo nice! I think I'll get used to this after braces life. Haha.

The removal process was nothing like I thought it was going to be either. I didn't really find it too terrible.

Mostly now I'm just catching myself looking at anything that shows my reflection. Haha. My teeth are so straight and big now as you can see in my photo. It's crazy.

I feel like an entirely different person. :)

WOW! Such an awesomely striking result!!!!! Your teeth are amazing, that is crazy good!! :D :-** :jump:

Yes I am loving brace free life...nothing gets caught and lips easily slide together haha! I remember the first 3 weeks I did the same thing, couldn't stop looking in the mirror. Lots of people comment still, although the effect wore off for me my teeth are still great I guess!

Hopefully people will make lots of nice comments with that smile of yours. Still Can't believe it. Model teeth! lol

Enjoy your new smile.

PS any idea on what kind of retainers you're getting? And did you get bonded retainers too?
