Glad to see I'm not that much of a late bloomer!

I made the decision to get braces as a present to myself on my 30th birthday :)

I'm late to the party... but I got my braces on when I was 28. I always wanted (and needed) them as a teenager, but I never got around to it. I am ecstatic to be taking care of this as an adult and should be about 5 months away from being free to enjoy my new smile.

To anyone reading this and feeling unsure about ortho as an adult- knuckle up and just do it! Getting orthodontic treatment is one of the best things you can ever do for yourself.

30!!!! It was my birthday gift to myself. My parents could not afford them when I was a teen. In my early twenties I couldn't either. At 25 I had my daughter and that was quite the economic adjustment lol my husband and I have cleared up some debt so I finally went for it. Had them 3 months so far. 19 months to go LOL!!!

I am 26 and I am just starting out the process of getting braces. I really wish I would've started earlier. But, now that I can actually afford them and after doing so much research on adult braces, I am very confident and content that I will finally be getting them! :)

Just got them Tuesday im 24
Lots of crimes here

1. The upper molars bite too far ahead of the lower molars

2. Missing teeth #s 9, 14, and, 29

3. Open bite

4. Upper midline left of center

5. Lower midline right of center

6. Upper and lower teeth not straight

Sentence - 24 months, turned to 27 month.

Braces removed since 11/06/17

Just got my braces today at 29! :lol:
Crimes: overbite, overjet, spacing, mild crowding :-*
Sentence: 21 months :gavel:

I just got my braces one month ago, aged 30. It's something I should have done ages ago. My teeth aren't too bad but my two upper incisors always bothered me. I went with the six month smiles option. Can't wait until they're off.
