Quad helix

I have recently got my quad helix fitted. Ive had it fitted for 2 months but i got my next appointment coming up soon but i dont know what is going to happen.
I also need to get my brace fitted.
Does anyone know what might happen at my appointment?

Hi Emmaalouisee97! Often an appliance like the quad helix is allowed to work for several months before braces are installed, but none of us here has any basis for knowing what's in your orthodontist's treatment plan for you. You should feel 100% entitled to call his/her office and ask! Good luck!

wow I have never heard of a Quad helix before! I did a quick google search to have a look at what it is!

Ask the orthodontist, you're paying for this after all!

I just googled the quad helix as well, looks like a bit of a mouthful!

Hi Emmaalouisee97, any news on the quad helix? I had a consult with an ortho yesterday and he mentioned that this would be needed in my treatment. I'm curious to hear a bit about it. It look scary!
