Upper jaw numbness

Hi all, I'm a little over 3 months post op double jaw surgery. Sensations are returning well minus my maxilla. All I can feel is a slight tickle on my palate when I run my tongue over it- my teeth and upper gums have nothing. I know it's still pretty early, but did anyone have numbness like this?

Yup! It was around the 3 month mark that it started coming back. I'm 5.5 months post-op now and most of it is back except for right behind my front teeth.

I still don't feel anything on my palate or have any gum sensation

I still have a fair bit of numbness in my maxilla too but I also get that tickling on my palate. I'm not too concerned tho, my surgeon said the feeling in the top always comes back, it just takes time.
