I am paying $5890 for Damons metal on top and bottom. That did not include my records appointment which was $350 nor does it include my bottom bonded retainer and upper essix retainer which will be $470.

I'm 25 year old male.
I'm covered under mothers' dental insurance but does NOT cover orthodontics.
However, covers up to $1,250/year maximum on general dentristry, which paid for my initial office examination, X-rays & CEPH image, rooting & scaling procedures and a few cleanings before braces went on.
Paid $512 cash for necessary extractions of crowded pre-molars, 2 upper and 2 lower

2 year comprehensive adult orthodontic treatment for traditional metal braces for uppers & lowers.

$1000 initial cash down (only required $500 to begin treatment but I put down more)

I pay extra at appointments whenever I can. And they're about paid off! It's not that bad and I can afford them. I have needed braces forever and cannot wait to expirence life with a pretty smile :) So happy I am doing this for myself!
