Impacted Wisdom tooth Extraction with Braces?
Just got my braces fixed 3 days ago as part of my treatment leading to double jaw surgery in some 1.5 years time. I had one of my wisdom teeth extracted in November and I have my next appointment in February to extract my other wisdom tooth. In the meantime I have had braces fixed. The molar in front of my impacted wisdom tooth which will be extracted has been fixed with a band. Will it be more difficult to extract my wisdom tooth as it is? My experience with extraction in November was awful; I 'believe' the anaesthetic was not sufficient and the extraction process was extremely painful. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Impacted Wisdom tooth Extraction with Braces?
I had both impacted upper wisdom teeth extracted in November, and didn't have any issues despite having my other molars banded. I think I was really lucky with my wisdom teeth extraction as I had essentially no pain, and went back to work the very next day (I could have gone to work a few hours after the surgery, but due to the general anesthesia, I wasn't supposed to drive). Good luck to you!
