first adjustment update

first adjustment update

Hey everyone! I just got back from my first adjustment. There has been alot of movement with the bottom cuspid tooth which im excited for since that tooth was further back from the others. No wire change this appointment but the ortho said next appointmemt we would go up to the next size wire. Also got 3 steel ties, one on the lower cuspid, one on the lateral (i think those are the right names lol) and omg when the assistant was putting them on it felt like my tooth was going to come out! The teeth with the steel ties are definitely the most sore but nothing that requires any pain meds. Also next appointment i should be getting the go ahead to start the process of getting my baby canine out and having the adult one exposed!

Ps i hope the picture isnt huge. Im posting from my phone so im not entirely sure how its going to look

Yeah steel ties aren't fun, had the fun ones where its almost like a steel powerchain, they twist it around each tooth. hurt for a little, but it goes away.
