I was hoping to have them off before my 41st birthday. I got them at 39 and 1/2 , and was meant to have them on for 9 months before surgery and 9 months after. It's now nearly 16 months and I still don't have a surgery date, so I guess I'll be 42 before they come off.

I'm 25 now and if all goes to plan I'll be 26 when my braces come off. In plenty of time to get my teeth whitened before my wedding I hope!
