Dry Mouth

#1 Post by Heidirs »

Anyone experiencing dry mouth as a side effect of their braces? Apparently it's common.

I've been drinking lots of water and sucking on sugar free lozenges, and it's helping but I wish it would just go away and my mouth would go back to normal.

I'm also looking into mouth probiotics that seem to help some people. Has anyone found anything that's worked for them?

Im in the same situation as u. Ive tried everything and still have dry mouth. I load up on the carmax chapstick, and drink lots of water. It helps a little, but still dry mouth. One thing Ive noticed that has helped me even more is that biotene mouthwash and toothpaste for dry mouth. Just know, this too shall pass......
