elastic ligature

Hi, i'm Chiara and i've had braces on the top for 3 weeks now but i've only had the ones on the bottom for 2 days. so the other day i saw a different shape on one of my ligatures and i tried to fix it to look the same as the other ones. i couldn't put it in a different shape and one corner of the ligature just feel off the braces and i immediately put it back on, then i call my ortho to ask if the ligature was in right place and she said that she couldn't put in in the other way as the others cause my teeth was too bad. now i'm worried,, will something happen cause the ligature feel off from one corner? cause my ligature is still on my teeth! maybe it has less pressure on it now.. sorry but i'm a little paranoid! and sorry for my english, i'm from italy :)

I would give your orthodontist a call and let them know about the ligature coming off in the corner. They might tell you to come in and have it fixed, or they’ll tell you to just wait until your next appointment. But I would call just to be safe
