I was wondering how you guys feel about a foaming retainer/aligner cleaner that also gently and gradually whitens teeth?
Would you want to buy such a product? If not, what are your reservations about it?

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

I'd be interested in hearing more about this. Would it be a no-rinse (and clear) product you'd squirt inside the retainer, then put on your teeth? That's the only way I can envision it working. If it leaves a foam, it might make your teeth look odd while you're wearing the retainer.... Curious to hear more!

It's a foaming product that you put inside your clear retainer/aligner. You keep it in your mouth. It whitens your teeth gradually while killing the bacteria on your retainer with hydrogen peroxide.

Sounds promising. I'd certainly try it!

The only downside/risk that I see is that Hydrogen Peroxide is known to create sore throats (and subsequent colds) when used in whitening products - it happens to many that use white strips or trays... Other than that, I think it would be an INCREDIBLE 2-for-1 type of product. I'd definitely give it a try, but I'd be nervous, admittedly...
