I'm 35 and finally worked up the courage to get braces. I've had them about 4 weeks now.

Got mine at 16!! Now I’m 18 about to go into college within a weeks time but they’re coming off in a month according to my Otho!

About to get mine at age 30, an entire decade after first looking into getting them. I don't like to rush into things! (actually it took me that long to overcome my fear of dentists and get my basic dental health back on track).

3 bites at the cherry, one in the 30's, tried a quick fix and it failed, at 42 tried again and it failed - both where invisaign knock off's, then upper incognito followed by lowers - had I started with lowers I would not have done more treatments! Best advice is to do it right the first time.

I was 47 when I started with braces. Surgery next month. Hopefully all done before 50!!

Turned 60 in September, and got braces on last week. The first time around I was 11-13.

I got braces in July of 2018 for the first time at the ripe old age of 66. I have always wanted to get them to fix my smile and some other issues, but until now I couldn't afford them. Now I can afford them and I am glad I took the plunge.

I am glad I am not the only one at 66 to be getting braces. I was given the choice as to brace or not. Ortho definitely went over the negatives and positives and said it was up to me if I wanted to go through the stuff at my age. Since I am having chewing issues my Husband and I decided I should go ahead and get them and then I will need a bonded permanent retainer to keep the teeth in place. Some things have worked in my favor right now and I can now afford them whereas I couldn't have a few years ago.

Hi all i am 46 and just 3 days ago i got my top line of Braces in and am due for the bottom in 2 weeks. I was so worried about my age but this forum really helps. I was wondering does anyone experience dizziness the first few days?
