What's your current treatment till the end? Just braces? or still have any expanders or elastics?

Sorry, I was off here for a while. 6 Months ago Got my braces off, lower expander out and traditional retainers in. The retainers didn’t hold my bottom arch where it needed to be (and the retainer broke making it worse before it could get replaced) Getting a new lower expander in 12 days and possible lower braces again. I have a committed and awesome orthodontist.

Awesome that you got them off, but sorry to hear you have to get some adjustments done...
Would you mind posting a pic of your end result and wearing the retainers?

Got my lower expander. It has a retainer type wire on it but is already causing some gaps. Guessing lower braces may be in my future. I’ll post pics when I can.

Well gang.......my orthodontist tried to close my gaps by looping a wire around my teeth from canine to canine and twisting it until the gaps were almost closed then put a bonded retainer in to hold it there and planned to do the same next month to get it the rest of the way. This was fairly painful. The bonded retainer came loose within an hour. I went back in the same day and got the same thing done a second and more painful time. That bonded retainer lasted about 3 hours. They just can’t hold up to the pressure of the gaps that formed. So tomorrow...........full lower braces going back on!! At least I think it’s just going to be lowers only. Wait and see....

Hey Shawn, thank you for keeping us posted with the updates, sorry to hear that your treatment is being dragged out a bit! Let us know what they ended up doing to fix the gaps!
Also thank you for posting the pictures! Is there any way to make the pictures larger, since it's very hard to see in this small format? If thats not an option here, I think there is also a really easy way of posting them as a link, through the imgBB site, if you find that easier!
Cheers!
