is 10k for sliding genioplasty overpricing it?

#1 Post by jillyaaannn »

I've found a few doctors that I'm considering and have a good feeling about based on the positive reviews and before/after pictures I've seen. However I am not an extreme case and what I only want is a few mm setback. For a natural result that only I might notice, I don't know if 10k is worth that much. Any advice would be so helpful!

It sounds about right to me. You’d be under general surgery cutting through bone, preserving nerves, etc.

$8,000 seems to be about the going rate, however you mentioned you wanted it set back, did he discuss if he was going to be doing anything to the soft tissues or refining or shaping the chin as well as the genioplasty? Apparently setting it back is harder to do.
