hi,im new here,i got Damon3 Braces on Nov30th,read inside :(

hi everyone.. im new to this forum.. im 14 and i have been looking up on braces and found this website.. anyways .. I got Damon 3 braces on Nov 30th(top and bottom teeth).. and i've been having such a hard time eatting..the past few days i've been eatting soup and soft foods... is this gonna continue on intill my teeth are completely straight?

there still not staight yet.. but everynow and then my teeth feel alittle soar and i take an aspirin or something..i miss being able to eat like i used too... when i got them on and they made me take the plastic thing out of my mouth to keep my mouth open.. i sorta thought to myself maybe i shouldnt have gotten them.. i hope it gets better. The ortho said that i will have them on for 2 years or maybe alittle less. Anyone that has these braces can you tell me if the soarness when you eat will go away? thanks sooo much ^_^

I've had mine on for just over a week and the soreness is pretty much gone. I have a bit of sensitivity on a few teeth but it's not preventing me from eating.
When everyone told me my mouth would feel better in a few days I didn't really believe them because it was hard to imagine the pain actually going but it does! Don't worry!

It took me about 1 and and a half weeks until the soreness was gone..

just keep waiting
