hi everyone.. im new to this forum.. im 14 and i have been looking up on braces and found this website.. anyways .. I got Damon 3 braces on Nov 30th(top and bottom teeth).. and i've been having such a hard time eatting..the past few days i've been eatting soup and soft foods... is this gonna continue on intill my teeth are completely straight? :( there still not staight yet.. but everynow and then my teeth feel alittle soar and i take an aspirin or something..i miss being able to eat like i used too... when i got them on and they made me take the plastic thing out of my mouth to keep my mouth open.. i sorta thought to myself maybe i shouldnt have gotten them.. i hope it gets better. The ortho said that i will have them on for 2 years or maybe alittle less. Anyone that has these braces can you tell me if the soarness when you eat will go away? thanks sooo much ^_^

I've had mine on for just over a week and the soreness is pretty much gone. I have a bit of sensitivity on a few teeth but it's not preventing me from eating.
When everyone told me my mouth would feel better in a few days I didn't really believe them because it was hard to imagine the pain actually going but it does! Don't worry! :D
