HELP!!!! Retainer problems...hard to remove

I recently had my braces removed

and I am having difficulty removing the retainer. Any pointers
from you experienced folk out there? Could it be too tight? It
is like a suction effect on my teeth!

I had the same experience. My top retainer loosened up after a couple of weeks. I called my ortho about the bottom retainer and he had me come in so he could adjust it so it came out more easily. (He wanted it really tight so I would not take it out too much.)
