showerpik

#1 Post by airxjordan24 »

I just noticed the showerpik advertisement on the archwire hompage and decided to order one. I tried searching to see if anyone had reviewed this product but came up with no results.

anyone have this?

I would think that would be a lot of water pressure from a shower, even a water faucet. Post a review of this when you get it. I'm rather curious about that.

The pressure is adjustable. I have one, I love it. Check the post I just made under "Molar Bands" in the forum section.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it! As NotBob mentioned above, the pressure can be adjusted by turning the valve on the unit. The showerpik is a simple design, and because of this simple design, it looks like it'll last for a long long time.

I purchased the showerpik because i was newly braced and my teeth were too tender, that it hurt to floss. It also helps with the cleaning of my expander.

i rate this product a 10/10
1/21/06 - spacers and brackets
1/25/06 - 2 lower biscupids extracted
1/30/06 - lower archwire
2/13/06 - expander on uppers

I just ordered the one for the sink a moment ago. I started with the shower model, but feel that I want to do this more often than once a day.

I would rate it a 10 out of 10 as well.

NotBob1: Please let us know how you like the one for the sink and how you connect it. I have been wanting to buy one but I have very new modern sink faucets and I am not sure how it goes on. It seems so much easier than filling up the interplak cup.

Anybody have a link to see/order the showerpik? I can't find it on the main ArchWired page at the moment...

If it is what I think it is, that would be great! My Waterpik, after being filled, runs out of water after only about 20 seconds :( Not enough time to do all of my teeth.

When you order it, tell them you found the info on Lynn's website. I told him that this is where I found it. Maybe they'll do an ad on the main page.

Yes, as a matter of fact, the ad is going back up for March.
I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

Well, I received it. It took about one minute to install. I find that I use it 3-4 times a day in addition to the morning use of the showerpik.

It's simple, inexpensive and it works.

I'm quite interested in ordering one of these but I can't seem to tell if they ship internationally and I can't find an email address to ask.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately there does not seem to be an email address on their website. I wanted to order this way as well. I had to call.

If you would like, I can call and see if they have an email address in which you can communicate with them.....

I know that you are not the first person that is outside of North America and is interested in this.

NotBob1 - if it isn't too much hassle for you to give them a call, I'd really appreciate it! Are they any other waterpiks similar in design to this one as in no electricity required.
