WHAT DO YOU ALL MEAN???
guys, i bet your'e all thinking i'm a ditz when it coems to dental terminology but what do you guys mean when you say overbite and underbite etc? i guess the dentists and orthodontists in the states use the proper terms with their patients and that's why you all sound like proffesionals to me. lol i have no idea what some of the words you guys use mean? someone please help me out here!
I'm certainly no professional, but as a patient, I have an interest in what is meant when a dentist or ortho diagnoses problems I have. That's how I get familiar with all those terms. Of course, there are alot of ones I don't know---which are the ones I've never have applied to me!
An overbite is when you put your teeth together and your front teeth on top overlap the ones on the bottom. An underbite is just the opposite. I myself have an underbite.

Our words drift away. Our words journey to find those who will listen. It may be our words become lost. It may be our words find nothing, find no one. We call out into the distance.... --"Roma Ryan"
