scared that ortho screwed up

#1 Post by Sorry »

I am on second set of trays out of 7-top and 10-bottom. I had slight crowding. My ortho filed my teeth today to make space for the first time and I think he over did it. It scares me every time I look in the mirror. Has anyone else been concerned by the space their Dr. made? Please tell me that I am worried for nothing.

You are not alone!! I was so scared when my ortho did my filing - especially between my front bottom two teeth. I nearly died when I saw the space and couldn't wait for it to close - which it eventually did. Orthos are very careful and follow the procedures, but it is definitely scary as filing those teeth away just makes anyone cringe!
