Will the swelling ever go down??!!

I am currently at week 7 post op (double jaw surgery #2). I remember the swelling lasting for quite awhile after my first surgery. However, what caught my attention was your mention that your lip seems thinner--i have noticed thatbmy upper lip is much thinner than before the surgery as well. I don't remember experiencing this with my first surgery. Did your lip(s) seem to return to their normal size as the swelling went down?
