Well, my ortho said that it wasn't possible to get my midline perfect because of the way they had to move my teeth to make my bite correct. My jaws aren't perfectly aligned, but he can't fix that because my bones are already developed. You can't do as much to your teeth when you are older. He said if I had the braces on when I was younger, like 7, he could have fixed it with head gear. I guess it isn't a big deal, since no one will notice it because my bottom teeth don't show when I smile.

And yeah, there are many things that can be done about gummy smiles! It seems like no one knows how to deal with the opposite!
