Hi Tobilei! It's really worth keeping them on. I kinda miss them to be honest :P The permanent retainers have not bothered me at all. It was a lil' icky the first few minutes after they were bonded cause I could taste the cement but it was all good after that. Had a very tiny lisp for a few hours but I think that was just me trying to work my tongue around it. Good luck with your braces journey!

Thank you for that. I was really nervous about my speach. I seem to have developed a whistle when I say "s" in braces and was thinking perhaps it would be an area where food would get stuck all the time (much like it does in my brackets). I feel a bit better about it now :)
