do damon braces really work faster

I didn't want the braces to be too noticeable and definitely didn't want to spend any more time than I had to in the ortho chair.

Mine wasn't Damon, but another brand SL brackets, and this is the reason why I decided to go with SL brackets. Time is money. Fewer visits to ortho's office and less time on the ortho chair were totally worthy of extra $.

Ormco, makers of the "Damon System," has done one helluva marketing job. I believe they don't do anything that anyone else can't do or already does. You've got to give them a tip of the hat, or should I say "a tip of the teeth"?

I've had Damon braces on for a little over 5 months now. My appointments so far have been every 10 weeks, and that is what the ortho told me they would be during my consult. I really like the 10 weeks between appointments as opposed to 6 weeks for traditional. I feel like my teeth have moved quite a bit in the first 5 months. Of course I can't say if they are any faster than the traditional ones would have been

We see patients every 8-10 weeks during their treatment using traditional braces.
