Wow, your teeth look great! My back teeth looked very similar to yours and my tongue was also crammed in. Did you notice a difference in speaking? I feel like I can already form "s" words so much better. You should be very happy with the results!

I think I do notice a difference speaking - although I can't tell for sure because the permament retainer does make me lisp a bit.

I'm noticing a difference eating. I always found I didn't really have enough room to do that without opening my mouth.

The best bit was that by three months in I didn't feel those two teeth digging into my tongue anymore which was amazing. Now my tongue rests happily on the roof of my mouth when I relax it which is much better.

No expander - just damon on upper and lower, with ice clear brackets on the front six teeth.

By the way everyone - only one person has actually noticed that I've got the braces off. I guess that says a lot about how little everyone noticed when I had them on - quite reassuring.
