Good to hear things are going well :)

I got my first powerchain on Thursday to start closing my diastema (just over the two front teeth) and sadly they are still pretty tender-On the upside must mean that things are progressing nicely :-)

I am glad that everything is going well. I know about that first week pain. I will be starting that over again on Tuesday when I get my bottom wire and brackets. It will be back to soft foods yet again.

Wow! That looks amazing! I just looked at your blog and I see that you said your gap closed overnight with your powerchains. I'm very impressed. I hope I'm going to have a similar result.

Yes it really did close overnight. I was totally shocked but super happy about it. I was in a lot of pain though, so I just want to warn you about that. LOL!
It closed even more over the next week and has pretty much been the same since then (2 weeks later). I know it is not completely done but the progress is so encouraging!

I'll check out your blog too.

Wow, again, is all I can say. So, my orthodontist told me that I am going to get powerchains too. I tried to have a discussion with him about NOT using them but he didn't seem very open to that idea. I'm really pretty much dreading it but since the whole reason I am getting braces is to close the big space that has opened up between my two front teeth, I think I will just have to suck it up and deal with it.
Your teeth look amazing, by the way. You must be SO happy! I'm happy for you!!
