Avoid anything that has tumeric in it (i.e. curry). Tumeric stains like no other. Since you got clear ligatures, they are more likely to get stained by alot of foods/drinks. Anything with caffeine and tomato would probably stain as well.
Clear ligatures do not withstand stains well, so you might as well just embrace it. Try the smoke colored ones at your next appointment!

I've got clear and I completely agree with the post above, stay away from turmeric and curry. I've personally never had a problem with stuff like tomatoey stuff, but I don't put red wine in so I feel like that might.
Be aware of what you eat but don't be terrified of food either. Worse case scenario if you end up eating something and they stain you just get them changed at your next appointment. As long as you're being relatively cautious even if they're stained they won't look horrendous and you'll probably be the only one who knows they're stained.
I've had mine one for a few months and it was only last month when I thought sod it and ate a curry two weeks after my ligs were changed. It was when I spoke with my ortho at my last appointment she suggested silver wires but I can't help but love how they look when the ligs are clear.
