Thanks! It felt nice to be braces free for a week, but of course I had to go in for my retainer today. The bottom retainer fit nicely but the top is super snug - I basically have to force it off. So as nice as it was that my top teeth moved quickly enough to shave a month off my treatment, it looks like I definitely need the full time retainer. Hopefully they move back into place soon. Putting 6 months on my calendar, really not looking forward to wearing these full time for that long (I mostly find the feeling of plastic in my mouth to be unpleasant - I was counting down with the carriere too).

The retainers do take a bit of time to get used to, and bring a whole new set of challenges which for me were minor compared to braces! I forget how long I had to wear mine full-time (I have the clear plastic Invisalign type) but continue to wear them every night (mostly) 10 years later! Best of luck to you!
