I have my braces on right now at age 20. It's been 8 months into my 2 year treatment.

I'm new to this site...

I had my top brace fixed on monday and i'm 24 next month. I'm getting the bottoms fixed later and then having a jaw op. Its been a long time coming!! I'm based in the UK and am getting this done on the NHS.

Now I just to get used to having braces..

I was 22 (now 24). I was totally expecting to get picked on by my friends and colleagues. But, no one mocked me. They all complemented my teeth which was nice, but no fun. I love a bit of banter!

I've only had one co-worker mock me so far. She saw 'em and said "soo not sexy"

eh, w/e. I didn't get 'em for her nor am I trying to impress her.

Hi friends, this is my first post. I am 24 now and I never thought that I would need braces. But now I realize that I need them badly. I have done a lot of research and now I am getting my ibraces.

About to get braced at the age of 23...getting very excited/nervous. Have to get wisdom teeth and another tooth pulled first, however. Hopefully once they're on, I'll be more active on this site.
