Hey Ken,

Thanks for checking in on my story.

I am impressed beyond belief that you signed up for this for 4 years - I've only been in it 4 days and am pretty sure I couldn't do 4 years.

Cheers, Lynley

Hey Ken, it sounds like you're doing well and keeping in good spirits. I hope you don't need that additional surgery either. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!

So do you have any idea how much longer you have to go? Assuming your perio issues don't interfere again, anyway. You must be pretty close after all this time?????

Hi Ken :D

Glad to hear your recovery is going well. Good luck getting out of your 'holding pattern' and back on track.
I hope you don't have to settle for anything but orthodontic perfection in the end, especially 'cause of what you've been through.

Yea, we're doing a little shoveling here too...I bet you can't wait 'till winter's over so you can rev those cars up again!!!

Thought to pop by to follow up with you story. Boy you have come a looong way! So encouraged by your uplifting spirit !!

Your teeth is moving nicely together now looking at your first post!
If you dont mind asking ( as I dont explaination mentioning the history of your teeth), do your teeth naturally grow the the gaps there or you have had IPR? IN anyhow its coming nicely together! Hope it will be over in no time!

Glad to see you in such good spirits Ken! Hoping the surgery went well for you! And also hoping the perio and ortho plans agree and you can get the braces off and complete treatment to your satisfaction with retainers--it's been quite a long road for you!

As for me, closing the rest of my gaps (started on powerchains about 2 weeks ago) should take 3-4months I suppose--OD said I should be surgery ready (for BSSO) in August--have to really plan it out well based on the kids school schedules!

Saw 5 olympic events here in Vancouver--hockey was especially exciting for my boys! We saw a really great Sweden v Germany game!! And were the minority during the gold medal game (as we are Americans living in Canada--routing for USA!!) It was an awesome experience--something I hope my kids never forget! Bye for now and good luck!

Hey Ken, I just caught up on your story. So you did have to have the additional surgery, huh? Too bad, but at least it's over and it went well. I sure hope you get back on track with your braces pretty soon. It sounds like you're soooo close!

Good luck and I hope you cross the finish line pretty soon!
