I didn't knew that ceramic ones are bulkier until after the treatment. I had ceramic ones bonded on upper arch first and metal ones on lower arch months later. Metal ones just looked little bit smaller and if there was some food between the ceramic braces then I could see it better :) I didn't notice any other differences between ceramic and metal braces.
