What kind of retainer do I have?
Well my top retainer looks like others I've seen, but my bottom I can't seem to find...
It's very teeny tiny! It only goes to my cuspids (i think thats what it is), and there's like NO inside part either...
Anyone else have one like this or seen one similar?
This is what it looks like when you see it from the front (if you look at me head on). There's a clear part on my tooth, not just the wire:
Here's the part that's on my tooth/gum (pink!):

I have no idea (sorry!), but I wanted to comment on how different it is!!
I've never seen a retainer that has plastic on metal on the tooth side! Very interesting....

My positioner had acrylic on the wire, and it wasn't uncomfortable at all. Maybe it's a toned-down version of a positioner, as mine was quite a bit more elaborate than the one pictured above.
EyeHartEwe, do some of your lower social six still need a bit of tweaking? Again, the case with my positioner was that the acrylic that lay on the lingual and labial surfaces was molded to the teeth's ideal position, therefore "coaxing" them into position.

Not that I'm aware of The lowers were the least of the problem and according to him could have been "bracefree" months ago, but for the sake of a "big reveal" they stayed on lol
I tell you though, this bottom one hurts one of my teeth. It feels like it's scraping the enamel off! Its made my tooth so sensitive, and not the "I have braces" sensitive
