Braces tomorrow!

#1 Post by camille »

So tomorrow is my "lucky" day. I'm very scared. The only good thing is that I'm getting my RPE off. FINALLY! Any tips? How much do you think it'll hurt? Aaaaah, wish me luck! Thanks!

Good luck. After the RPE, braces will bring a new challenge to flossing but you will quickly adapt.

As for wisdom (thanks to KK in previous posts):

Don't let braces change your daily life ...
Let this be a positive experience ...
Braces don't stop you from doing things, you do that ...
Attitude is everything ...

Finally take pictures before the braces, and pictures in the first two days with braces. When you get disgusted with the process, look at the progress shown in those pictures. Even after a couple of weeks, they’ll give you great encouragement.

Enjoy the journey, it will be as good or BAD as you make it.

I wore braces (this time) for 1294 days or 3 years, 6 months and 17 days.
But who's counting?

Thanks for praying for me and thinking happy thoughts.

Thanks everyone! I just got back from my appointment, and now I'm braced! The details will be in another post.
