You can move/switch orthos with Invisalign - I did

I had to move out of state for another job right in the middle of my treatment, and I thought I should post about it because it's less stressful than I thought it was going to be. My first ortho was a premier provider, and I wanted to make sure I'd go to an ortho in the new state. I called around to some in my new area and found one who had done a number of these transfers.

What happens is first ortho refunded some of my money (that represented treatment yet to be done). I actually financed my treatment so I sent that right back to Cap One Healthcare finance. I still have to pay off Cap One for what the first ortho already did, and the new ortho is going to charge me a monthly fee to finish plus cost of retainers. Overall it'll end up costing me slightly less for the treatment than if I stayed with the first ortho, heh.

The first ortho has to send records to new ortho, and fill out a form that new ortho will send to Align, granting them access to my clinchek online.
