International Travel with Braces

#1 Post by Dvi »

Hi everyone this is Dvi, Im in my fortys and just had braces applied on Tuesday. Its taking some getting use to but the end result will be worth it.

My question to all of you is; I will be traveling to Peru in August for two weeks I've been there before and know that it may not be that easy keeping my braces clean while touring. I certainly would appreciate any helpful sugestions that anyone would have.

Thank you,
Dvi

Thank you, KK for that helpful information; I did purchase the denta kit. I hadn't thought of a torch, that I will certainly pack.

Thanks again,
Dvi

Aww....just a light... I was thinking primitive with torches of fire! OOH HOT! Just goes to show, there is always room for miscommunication even when speaking the same language.

I prefer Miss Smiley's idea - I wonder what airport security would have to say about trying to travel with a great big flaming torch?

I am not volunteering to test this out on my next overseas trip.
