So I have bone loss on two of my molars and on the bottom front tooth. Not great news but I'll survive. Im only 25! It does run in my family...so I will be on recall every 3 months. I'm on my second month of braces....so I will be getting bone grafting done on the front bottom tooth either when the braces come off or while they are on. Does anyone know, ballpark figure on the costs of such procedure?
If you have insurance definitely call them. You want to make certain that you go to a peridontist that your insurance will cover. The cost can vary depending on the severity and the treatment. When I went they probed, poked, etc. then treated several teeth. It was roughly 340.00 out of pocket expenses but my insurance covered the rest (which was close to $1000.00). So it can vary and become pretty pricey if you don't have insurance.
