i'm on tray 8 of 10 for the tops and bottoms....i love what invisilign is doing for my top....closing my gaps and all, but i am unhappy with the bottoms. when i am done, my teeth will all be straight, but it is clear that my midline wil be off a little...my midline was always off before, but now it is worse and normally i do not care because it doesn't look bad, but since the top teeth and bottom teeth midlines do not match up, the top and bottom right canines sit right on top of each other and come in contact....it's very uncomfortable, and with the two teeth pushing against each other, they will surely move once my treatment is done.
i will ask for the refinements, but i am under the impression that the ortho does not have much of a say in what he wants your teeth to do. isn't it up to the invisalign company to figure out how your teeth are going to move? i would like the refinements to concentrate on moving the teeth over slightly...can the ortho direct the treatment a little bit? i really want the midline fixed! any feed back would be great cause i really don't want to live with this forever. thanks!
almost done but midline is way off!

The orthodontist does have a say in what happens with your treatment. My orthodontist told me that she almost always rejects Invisalign's first Clincheck and will keep doing so until she (and the patient) sees the results that they want.
Also, she told me that there is always one free refinement as part of the price. So, if your aren't happy, definitely speak up about it.
Good luck!
