Just wanted to check in. I got my Damon 3 brackes on top and bottom. I was quite sore for about 3 days, but am getting better now.

I see the oral surgeon today for 1 bicuspid extraction(I fear this more than anything else), so that they can close up the top brackets completely. Then "adjustments" every 8 weeks after that, for 2 years. YIKES!

At some point, I will be having rubberbands, I think about 6 months into it.

I am so glad I found this site Being 42, I was feeling quite alone in my ordeal, but after reading through this site, and browsing the message boards, I feel so much better about this whole decision. I also have had some pretty good laughs at some of the posts.
