no xrays before debanding

is it strange that my ortho announced i am getting my braces off on dec. 5 without taking any xrays?

I didn't have any Xrays prior to debanding.

It seems some orthos do a full set of xrays and others don't. Mine didn't and I haven't had any problems yet.
