Wobbly Tooth!!!!

#1 Post by sonja »

hi. i decided to cut my power chain because my tooth moved way too much, you could almost see it moving, it actually moved around 5mm in a week and had become very sore.
it has always been a little tender since i had some teeth removed around it.

anyway its quite wobbly now and being night time i cant do much about it but i am really worried. i will be phoning my ortho first thing in the morning and hopefully i will be able to get in, however in the mean time i am worried about loosing it........ i dont know if i did the right thing cutting the power chain but at the time i felt i had too because it was pulling my tooth too fast, it moved about 2mm just today..
once i cut it, it has now moved back about 1mm...

does anyone know if i should be worried about this??

They have to get wobbly and loose so they can move, Sonja! Some teeth move faster than others, some people's teeth move faster than other people's - we are all different.
