Wisdom Teeth

So two weeks from today I'll be having my jaw surgery!! I'm very excited and I can't wait for the whole thing to be over with. I'm having upper and lower jaw surgery along with a genio and probably all four wisdom teeth removed. I find out for sure if I'm getting them removed on Monday. I know from other people's experiences there is usually gauze where the teeth were extracted and that has to be changed frequently. Given that orthognathic patients can't open their mouths is there any other treatment that has to been done for the wisdom teeth while the holes are healing? Thanks a lot!
