SO I went in for model surgery today... and the surgeon assisting my main surgeon started taking all kinds of measurements of my nose and sesame

and I'm like WTF you doin?

After we did the facebow thing he is like well when we move the upper jaw forward.... im like....BSSO ONLY....

Then he frowned and was very surprised.... Apparently his opinion differs from the other surgeon.... apparently he's going to talk to my surgeon to recommend both.

I wasn't too scared about just a BSSO, but A lefort will drastically alter my appearance, as I have nose droop and my face is a bit flat around the sides of my nose.

Any opinions and suggestions?... I have two weeks until surgery.

Did the doctor say why he was looking at it in a differant light? Also do you have sleep apnea or other medical issues that might be the reason for the change? I would also ask to go to another Oral Surgeon and ask him/her about what they think. The more questions you ask the better you will about what you are doing.
