I've had braces on for almost 2 years and I just met my "new" oral surgeon today. I've had 4 pre-molars removed in preparation for the surgery, and the gaps have since closed. My surgeon tells me that surgery is coming soon- but he'll know for sure after my impressions are completed (they made them today). I'm REALLY nervous!!! I've seen how everyone encourages everyone here and I am asking for/willing to do- the same. This is an extremely big step for me. At 24 years old I'm finally changing something that's been a huge part of my life. Anyway- my name is Joe and I look forward to sharing my experience with everyone over the next several months.
