Surgery in Costa Rica?

Hi,
I live near Dallas, TX and need a BSSO, Lefort I and genioplasty this August. My insurance company denied me benefits and the surgeon here quoted me $25,000 for everything. I don't want to pay that much. I've read on this forum that a lot of people have gone to Costa Rica to have their surgery performed by Dr. Reiche. Would you recommend him? How much was the total cost?

If you use the search function, you'll find a few threads for people who have had their surgeries with Dr. Reiche in Costa Rica.

Ozzysmom is one of the members who has and she still frequents the boards from time to time and will probably answer questions if you PM her.

I looked at Dr. Reisch, too.

He told me I needed lower, upper, and genio while every surgeon told me in the US that I would just need lower and maybe MAYBE upper.

Every email with them they spelled orthognathic wrong which I thought was odd.

It could have worked out but I ended up getting approved by insurance in the US where I live.
